Mr Juan Prados

Socio Director, Expertos Forestales, Spain

Juan Prados Edwards is a Forest Engineer by the Madrid Polytechnic Institute, MBA by ESADE Business School and a Master Degree in Enology and Viticulture.

He is shareholder in the Spanish wood and biomass trading company Entorno Fértil and of the consultancy company Expertos Forestales Agrupados. With operations in Europe, Africa and South América with trading volumes of over 350.000 m3/yr.

Previously he occupied several positions at the ENCE group such as Forestry Operations Manager (3 mill m3/yr) and Country Manager for Portugal with over 700.000 m3/y of trading.

He has also been dedicated to associative matters as, Vice-president of the European Confederation of Wood-working Industries (CEI-Bois), Member of the Board of the Spanish Confederation of Woodworking Industries (CONFEMADERA) and Chairman of the wood promotion project “Living with wood”.
