Don is a founding partner of Cogent Fibre and Managing Director of Cogent’s European operations. Cogent Fibre is the leading exporter of wood chips in the eastern United States. Don is responsible for securing Cogent's product contracts, new business development and legal affairs. Prior to forming Cogent, Don spent five years in a private firm specializing in the marketing of wood by-products. Don has an extensive financial background having started his career on the derivatives trading floor of CIBC Wood Gundy and has held senior positions at both Arthur Andersen and KPMG. Don brings a unique perspective to Cogent’s operations by combining his years of experience in both corporate and small business environments
