São Paulo, a singular city

São Paulo is a singular city. Biggest metropolis of South America, it is the cultural and business center of the country. With 11 million of inhabitants, it mixes glamour and sophistication with popular festivities and artesian objects, classic music with urban art, antique and contemporary. The gastronomy is an attraction aside, with thousand of restaurants from all over the world. Museums, parks, concerts houses, shopping mall and sports complete what the city has to offer. CENU (Centro Empresarial Nações Unidas)

The CENU is composed by a shopping mall, two towers with business offices and a third tower that was projected to be the Hilton São Paulo Morumbi hotel. The complex has more than 2981 thousand ft2 and is the Brazilian head office of several multinational companies such as Nokia, IBM, Monsanto, Microsoft, Samsung, Hewlett-Packard, Cisco, and Maersk.

Museu do Ipiranga

Notorius because of the famous independence "shout" proclaimed by D. Pedro I, in 1822, the region surrounding the Ipiranga River was always considered the ideal place for a Museum. Opened in 1890, the Ipiranga Museum offers a collection with more than 125 thousand items, from Indian objects, furnishings, arsenal, paintings, and other instruments, several for private purposes that represent the country history from 1500 to 1950.

Parque do Ibirapuera

The Ibirapuera Park was launched by occasion of the IV Centennial of the São Paulo city foundation Celebration in 1954. The park hosts the Bienal building, a sport stadium, the Museum of the Nativity Scene, Aeronautics and Folklore Museum, the Obelisk in memory of the 32 heroes and the Momumento às Bandeiras. It is an perfect oasis to relax and exercise in the middle of the São Paulo wilderness.
