This conference builds on the tradition of the International Woodchip Exporters’ Conferences which were held from 1992 to 2000 in the USA, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand, China and Chile. The focus will be to bring together international forest owners, woodchip and pulplog suppliers, and buyers. It will also provide an excellent communications forum for shippers, equipment suppliers and consultants.
Come to know the pricing trends, the traditional and emerging markets, the international pulpmill expansion, the export supplies in different countries and regions and much more.
A two-day Conference plus a field trip visiting port Installations, pulplog receiving stations, chipping mills and eucalyptus and wattle plantations with the presence and support of the most experienced international experts.

Objectives of the Pulpwood Conference
Bring together for networking several hundred people from all over the world who are involved with the growing of pulpwood plantations, and/or the harvesting and transportation of roundwood and chips; the international marketing of woodchips and biomass, ocean freight logistics and wood fiber/biomass trading; as well as equity and debt finance industry executives, consultants and researchers; and Federal and State Government forest operations and policy officers.

The official language of the congress will be English, but as the 2010 conference will be in Brazil, there will be simultaneous translation from Portuguese to English and from English to Portuguese at no extra charge
